I am a mid-thirties single male now living and working in London doing a job that I really enjoy and I’m enjoying being here as well because so many of my friends are close at hand. I am though originally from Scotland and grew up in a town on the edge of the Highlands which is probably where my love of the mountains comes from, when I get the opportunity I love to spend time walking in the mountains particularly as walks often end with a pint in a country pub!

I think it is my Scottish heritage that accounts for the frequent appearance of the tawse in my stories or the belt as we knew it when we were at school because I am old enough to have felt it at school before it was banned in the 1980′s. My interest in spanking was probably already evident at that time though and I used to read some of the comics avidly as there were often references to the slipper and spankings in them. As I was a bit older I got a part-time job in my local public library and I can remember looking with interest at the history books and biographies for references to spankings and floggings both of which I still do when in bookshops or libraries.

I have been very fortunate to have met some absolutely fantastic people through my interests in corporal punishment and the non-fiction posts on this blog recount some of my experiences with these people while the fiction posts are often grounded in reality reflecting experiences that I have had or giving ideas to explore in the future.

Always good to recognize where one comes from and to keep those attachments that are important to one’s life.
Great writing and I hope you continue for some time.
    Regards!
